Our New Look

HEART (Helping Empower At Risk Teens) Foundation proudly introduces its new look and website as part of a rebranding strategy aimed at expanding its role as a leading provider of behavioral health services.

The completely revamped site showcases improved functionality, design and navigation. It is also accessible through a wider range of web browsers and devices, including mobiles and tablets.

"Our new website has a new look, feel and is designed with our clients first in mind," said HEART President/Founder Umar Adeyola.  "We've worked very hard over the past few months to make it match the personality and vibe of HEART. We feel it provides information about us in an easy, casual manner, and hope our visitors find the pages resourceful as much as we do."

HEART also announces the launch of its new logo and tagline. The mark conveys a distinctive blend of unity, strength and innovative spirit. We retained the heart shape - a reminder of our core values - connecting people with services that change lives. The tagline, A Place For Help, A Reason for Hope, is a contemporary, urgent and personal call to action.

HEART gratefully acknowledges the support Mary Beth Popp, Laurie Hebeler and the creative design team at Eric Mower & Associates in the development of our new logo.

We also recognize the visual arts contributions of photographers Cheryl Gorski, Bruce Jackson and Amir West (www.photofanatic.org) to the web site.

During the introductory period, we ask visitors to help further enhance the new site by providing feedback on its design, features and content.  User input will provide an invaluable tool in helping us to fine-tune the new website to ensure that it's serving the community at the highest level.

New York State should pass legislation to raise the age of adult criminal responsibility from 16 to 18 so that youth who are charged with a crime are treated in more age appropriate manner.
